Our garage has all the latest facilities to carry out the MOT and emissions test for all makes and models including light commercial vehicles and Class VII vehicles can be done by prior arrangement. We are equipped to test both petrol and diesel engines.
Our MOT centre is approved by the Government appointed Vehicle Operator Services Agency (VOSA) and all MOT tests are completed by MOT testers nominated by VOSA. Now you can arrange an appointment online and have an MOT test completed up to one month before the expiry of your MOT.
Should you take the MOT test up to a month before the due date and if the old certificate, or registration document in the case of the first MOT, is presented at the test, the certificate will be issued from the due date rather than the earlier test date.
We are a Class IV MOT test centre for:
- Cars, Motor Caravans.
- Dual purpose vehicles.
- PSVs up to 8 passenger seats.
- Goods Vehicles (Up to 3,000 kg DGW).
- Private passenger vehicles.
We have a very pleasant customer seating area if you are waiting for your MOT and we will ensure that the test is carried out promptly and efficiently.
The test normally takes just over an hour to complete. Alternatively you can leave your car in the morning, have a coffee at the many cafes in the high street and return to pick your vehicle up.
Please note that the test relates only to the condition of the testable items at the time of the test. It should not be regarded as evidence of the condition of the items tested at any other time, nor should it be taken as evidence of the general mechanical condition of the vehicle.
